Holy Trinity at a glance
Holy Trinity Parish, Blackbutt North is a Parish within the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. The Parish serves the population of the suburbs of Waratah, Waratah West, Jesmond, Lambton, North Lambton, Rankin Park, New Lambton, New Lambton Heights and parts of Georgetown and Kotara. Our Parish contains three churches; Corpus Christi at Waratah, St John the Evangelist at Lambton, and St Therese’s at New Lambton. There is a parish primary school adjacent to each church. The Parish also serves a number of nursing homes, as well as the John Hunter, Newcastle Private, Rankin Park and Mater Hospitals.

Its place in the Diocese
The parish is part of the Blackbutt Pastoral Region of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. All Saints (Kotara, Cardiff and Adamstown) comprises the remainder of the region. The diocese has four deanery areas and Holy Trinity belongs to the Newcastle Deanery.
